We believe that great design results from the fusion of your preferences and lifestyle with the design expertise and ideas of a DOTI Design Consultant. When you work with a DOTI designer, she or he will invest time in learning about you, how you wish to use the rooms in your home, and your tastes and preferences for colors and materials. As your designer puts your design plan together, she or he will collaborate with the other designers in our studio, giving you the benefit of the best design ideas available.
Oftentimes, your DOTI designer will request an appointment with you at your home to measure rooms, existing furniture and windows, and to look at traffic patterns. Your designer can then customize design and product recommendations for you that remain within the amount of money you would like to invest in your project.
You'll also find that your DOTI designer is an invaluable resource for information about DOTI products - from furniture construction and faux wall finishes to the durability of upholstery fabrics and amount and types of lighting needed to properly illuminate your space.
Perhaps the most surprising thing about the relationship with your DOTI designer is that design services are provided at no additional charge, when you use our products. Every detail is managed on your behalf from the ordering of your furnishings through their placement in your home.
We think that fine design should be part of every client relationship. And when you have a relationship with our DOTI store it’s included as just one facet of the personalized service we deliver everyday.

From a young age, I have always had a love for design, which led me to pursue my bachelor's degree in interior design from Southern Illinois University. Designing interiors combines my enthusiasm for architecture, art, furniture, human behavior, culture, and my passion for all forms of design. It allows me to enrich the lives of people by transforming their spaces into a reflection of their personality, lifestyle and taste. I believe design is about solving functional problems and being able to elegantly do so. What excites me most though, is that, through listening and closely working with my clients, I get to help them transform their vision into a rewarding and beautiful home interior they can enjoy.

After graduating from the University of Missouri, K.C., I spent my days raising our three boys. However, my interest in fashion and interior design kept me reading and taking classes in the design field. After working in a high-end retail fashion store in St. Louis, I realized that putting together assorted fabrics, textures and styles was a passion. After decorating my own home, and those of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, I realized that my passion and "eye" for fashion work equally well in interior design, and I joined the team of design consultants at Designs of the Interior. I will provide you with a superior experience for your design projects both large and small. I will learn your lifestyle and taste, and working with you, I will create a design that exceeds your expectations.

Like most reasonable adults, my parents disciplined me when I began drawing on the walls at an early age. That is, until they realized it was more than scribbling: I was creating. They realized I had talent. From then on, I was frequently exposed to all forms of art. After majoring in art with a focus in art history, this passion of mine evolved into more than a handful of successful ventures. My goal is to create aesthetically beautiful, innovative and functional living/dwelling spaces by imparting my personal style and utilizing my creative instincts. I ensure truly dynamic results that translate into simply good design. |

My love of fabrics and color have been the driving force that has led me to become an Interior Designer. Degreed in design, my background includes art, color design and fashion design. I am an Allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and a member of the USGBC (United States Green Building Council), and most recently I received my CQRID certification for Residential Interior Design.
What I enjoy most is listening and learning from every client. Their wants, needs and wished. Developing just the right mix of style, color, line and design that reflects their personality is a process that is very rewarding:making it their world and a place to come home to. |

I found my way into the interior design industry as a natural progression from my success in real estate sales, specializing in new construction. For over ten years, I have sold and managed new construction projects throughout St. Louis, St. Charles, and Southern Illinois.
When my real estate services began to include home decorating and design, I found myself collaborating with interior designers to create spaces for some of my client’s most prized possessions – their family.
I quickly became enamored with the interior design industry. Catalyzed by a desire to capture the soul of a client’s style and portray it artistically and functionally in their homes, offices, and personal images, I am constantly inspired by the potentially beautiful spaces to be realized by simply taking cues from the lifestyles and personalities of my clients.
My design philosophy is simple: to create living spaces that inspire happiness and foster comfort in the people who inhabit them.
Having decorated homes in various suburbs of St. Louis, I especially enjoy creating eco-friendly spaces that give owners the opportunity to be engulfed in special spaces that are uniquely their own. |
